You can use your AutoSprite spritesheets directly in Astrocade by sharing public links. ## Quick Start Create and generate your character animations in AutoSprite. Make sure you have at least one completed spritesheet. In the Spritesheets tab, find the animation you want to use. Toggle the **"Make Public"** switch to enable sharing. Once public, you'll see two links: - **Sheet** - The PNG spritesheet image URL - **Atlas** - The JSON file with frame data and timing Click the copy button next to each link. In Astrocade's game creator, paste your public spritesheet URL when prompting or adding custom sprites. Astrocade will load your character directly from the link. You can share them with teammates or use them across multiple Astrocade games. ## Best Practices ### Plan Your Game First Before creating spritesheets, think about what your Astrocade game needs: - **Casual games** - Idle animation may be enough - **Action games** - Add walk, run, and attack - **Platformers** - Include jump animations ### Organize by Project Use AutoSprite's Guilds (folders) to keep characters organized per Astrocade game. This makes it easy to find and share the right spritesheets. You can make individual spritesheets public - you don't need to share all of them.
